Traditional Hatha Yoga

Classes for people of all ages, experience and ability.

A bit about me

Don’t be afraid to give it a try!

Every yoga teacher is different and finding a teacher and a class that’s right for you is important so if the first class isn’t right, then don’t be afraid try another one.

I’ve been practicing Hatha yoga for over 20 years, whilst working full time and bringing up 2 children. Having watched my mom (now 95) practice yoga in the 1970’s, it’s always resonated with me, and my

mat is where I exercise, feel calm and release my daily stresses.

As the physical and mental benefits of yoga are increasingly accepted by all medical professionals, I try to share its
benefits with others.
I qualified as a Yoga teacher in 2021 and have now completed over 500 hours of teaching. I’m a
registered Yoga Professional and insured with The Yoga Alliance.

I teach traditional Hatha Yoga although I am qualified to teach Yin Yoga (holding poses for longer) and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) too and therefore tend to include some of these techniques in my regular teaching too.

Yoga - the connection of Mind, Body, Breath & Spirit.

The practice of Yoga is over 3000 years old and goes much deeper than just helping to improve core strength, balance and flexibility however these are still great reasons to practice and whilst it might be life long journey for some, most simply enjoy a weekly class.

In simple terms, Yoga is about making some

time to stop, focus and nurture our mind and body; something we generally don’t do enough of ! 🧘‍♀️
